The Spring 2025 Duke Student Government General Elections have arrived! If you want to drive positive change on Duke’s campus next school year, you should run for a position in DSG. The General Elections cycle includes candidates running to become DSG Senators, Vice Presidents, the Executive Vice President, and the President. The General Elections are overseen by the DSG Attorney General and the Board of Elections. Election Timeline

• February 24^th 5 p.m. – General Elections Information session, held virtually
• February 24^th 12 p.m. – Registration of Candidacy opens
• March 3^rd 5 p.m. – General Elections Information session, held in-person at Reuben-Cooke 130
• March 16^th 11:59 p.m. – Registration of Candidacy closes
• March 18^th by EOD – Notification of candidacy
• March 19^th 5 p.m. – Mandatory Election Information Session for all Candidates, held in-person at Social Sciences 139
• March 20^th at 8 a.m. – Campaigning period begins
• March 31^st at 12 p.m. – Voting period opens
• April 1^st at 12 p.m. – Voting period closes
• April 1^st at 1 p.m. – Candidate budgets and petitions must be submitted
• April 1^st afternoon – Election results are certified, pending outstanding issues
• April 2^nd morning – Election results are publicly announced
• April 9^th – Inauguration
• April 12^th—13^th – Executive Board Retreat
