The General Elections cycle includes candidates running to become DSG Senators, Vice Presidents, the Executive Vice President, and the President. The General Elections are overseen by the DSG Attorney General and the Board of Elections. Election Timeline
- February 24th 5 p.m. – General Elections Information session, held virtually
- February 24th 12 p.m. – Registration of Candidacy opens
- March 3rd 5 p.m. – General Elections Information session, held in-person at Reuben-Cooke 130
- March 16th 11:59 p.m. – Registration of Candidacy closes
- March 18th by EOD – Notification of candidacy
- March 19th 5 p.m. – Mandatory Election Information Session for all Candidates, held in-person at Social Sciences 139
- March 20th at 8 a.m. – Campaigning period begins
- March 31st at 12 p.m. – Voting period opens
- April 1st at 12 p.m. – Voting period closes
- April 1st at 1 p.m. – Candidate budgets and petitions must be submitted
- April 1st afternoon – Election results are certified, pending outstanding issues
- April 2nd morning – Election results are publicly announced
- April 9th – Inauguration
- April 12th—13th – Executive Board Retreat
