Ally Douglas,

Communications Director

Ally is a sophomore from Pawleys Island, SC majoring in English and minoring in Philosophy with a certificate in Child Policy Research. This is Ally’s second year in DSG’s Communications, and her main goal is to manage and organize team responsibilities and expectations to better internal and external communication. Ally will do this by keeping constant communication with the other members of DSG to ensure our media presence and branding is as recent as possible.

Hailey Kasney,

Historian

Hailey is a senior from Hendersonville, NC majoring in History and Art History with a focus on Museum Theory & Practice. This is Hailey’s first year in DSG (welcome!!), and her main goal is to bring the many students involved in DSG closer to the organization’s history under the knowledge that more information about the past can help in leading for the future!

Benjamin Palmer,

Website Chair

Benjamin is a freshman from Windsor Locks, CT majoring in Public Policy and/or Political Science. This is Ben’s first year as DSG’s Website Chair, and his main goal is to keep the Duke community engaged and updated with DSG activities through active and consistent Website management. This includes publishing all member profiles, making archives accessible, updating and removing links.

Athena Aloupis,

Newsletter Chair

Athena is a junior from Cambridge, MA majoring in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and Economics. This is Athena’s first year working in DSG, and her main goal for this year is to add personality, creativity, and spontaneity to the weekly DSG blasts to ensure transparent communication with the student body.

Cheri Ho Gan,

Graphics Chair

Cheri is a freshman from Panama City, Panama who intends on majoring in Computational Media & Economics with a certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She is from Panama City, Panama aiming to create social media graphics that are welcoming, professional, and creative. Cheri hopes to ensure that the information DSG shares is communicated clearly to the Duke community and beyond by designing engaging, eye-catching visuals that strengthen the organization’s media presence.
